1. Definitions
- Platform / Website / Service: Refers to Skilgy.com and all related services.
- User: Any individual registered on the platform (Freelancer or Client).
- Freelancer: A user offering services.
- Client: A user requesting or purchasing services.
- Project / Order: A service agreement between a Client and a Freelancer.
2. Eligibility
By using Skilgy, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have legal authority to enter into agreements
- Your account information is accurate and truthful
3. Account Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- Using accurate personal and billing information
- Activities conducted through their account
Skilgy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraudulent activity
- Policy violations
- Misuse of the platform
4. Platform Usage
Users agree NOT to use Skilgy for:
- Illegal or unethical activities
- Posting false or misleading information
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind
- Spamming or unsolicited advertising
5. Payments & Fees
- Clients pay for services through the platform
- Skilgy may charge fees and commissions on transactions
- Payouts to freelancers are subject to verification and withdrawal rules
- Refunds and disputes follow our Dispute & Refund Policy
Skilgy is not responsible for:
- Client delays in payment
- Freelancer failure to deliver work
- External payment gateway issues
6. Projects & Communication
- All work agreements must be made within the platform
- Communication should stay on the platform for security purposes
- Deliverables and deadlines are determined by users, not Skilgy
7. Intellectual Property
- Clients own the final approved work once payment is completed
- Freelancers retain rights to their work until fully paid
- Users must not share or resell work without proper authorization
8. User Conduct & Behavior
Users must maintain professional, respectful behavior.
Abusive or unethical conduct may result in account suspension.
9. Liability & Disclaimer
Skilgy:
- Acts as a marketplace facilitator
- Is not a party to contracts between Clients and Freelancers
- Is not responsible for delivered work quality, timelines, disputes, or losses
All use of the platform is at the user’s own risk.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate users for violations without notice.
Users may delete their account at any time.
11. Policy Changes
We may update these terms periodically.
Continued use of the platform means acceptance of updated terms.
